This weeks carry is Kangaroo.  It is a two shouldered front carry that can be used for newborn through toddlers.  This carry needs woven wrap in base -2 or-3.  I use a size 3 or 4 woven wrap for this carry.  This carry can take a little while to perfect but once it clicks it is a fantastic carry to use.  One of the key things that helps me with this carry is to shrug my shoulder as I tighten each side.

This week we are doing a combo.  Front Cross Carry, FCC and Short Cross Carry, SCC.  You will need your base size for FCC and base -2 for SCC  These carries are similar but SCC requires a ring. These are both two shoulder front carries that are pre-tied so you can pop baby in and out.   I love both of these carriers and they are one of my favorite to nurse in.

This week's carry is the Front Double Hammock or FDH.  For this carry you will need a base or base +1 woven wrap, for me I need a size 6 or 7.  This is a two shoulder front carry that is great from newborn all the way up through toddlers.  This carry is super comfortable and supportive but takes some precise tightening to get it right. This is a carry you want to use for a longer duration not for a quick up.

This week's carry is Front reinforced torso rebozo aka FRTR.  For this carry you will need a base -2 woven wrap, for me that is a size 4.  This is a one shoulder front carry that stands out for carrying smaller babies, newborns through 6 months.  It ties off using the slipknot that we learned for Rebozo from two weeks ago, making is adjustable and great for nursing.  Let us know what you think.

This week's carry is Poppins.  For this carry you will need a base -2 size woven wrap, for me that is a size 4.  Poppins is a one shoulder hip or front carry.   It can be pre-tied and then pop baby in or you can wrap it around the baby.  This is a great carry for newborns up through toddlers.  It is also one of the prettiest carries, showing off both sides of wraps!

This week we are going to play with a hip carry! Coolest Hip Cross Carry (CHCC)! Often just referred to as Coolest this carry is great in a mid length wrap. It is a carry that can be pre-tied or use a sling ring to finish. It is a great carry for seat poppers as it has two cross passes. The Coolest version is a modification of hip cross carry which is often done with a longer wrap.

Coolest hip carry is easy to learn, really quick, and easy to do! Hip carries allow baby to easily view behind and in front while giving the wearer more mobility than a front carry offers. Coolest can be done with a small baby all the way up to a toddler!

This week is Jordan’s Back Carry (JBC). JBC is a high back carry using a medium-long to long wrap, depending on wrapper size and wrapping options. This carry has MANY variations and is great for babies who like to straighten their legs and/or babies who tend to try to lean out of the wrap.
Jordans is a multi-layer carry that starts with the wrap over one shoulder, then followed by 3 passes consisting of a hammock pass, a cross pass, and a horizontal pass. Here is where it gets fun, there are soo many options with this carry no shoulder flip, ring finish, chest pass, Tibetan ties, half-JBC and more!
